The Second Narrows Bridge Rehabilitation project is an example of our Critical Path Timeline achievements.
National Infrastructure™ was contracted for hydrodemolition of the bridge deck. The project came with stringent requirements for timely completion.
As a trusted provider of hydrodemolition services for the general contractor's other projects, National Infrastructure™ was called upon to complete the job within very tight timelines and any delays would have resulted in Penalties.
As an incentive for early completion the contractor would be awarded a $25,000 per day bonus for each 24 hour period that the deck work was completed prior to the established deadline.
In the event there was a delay, the contractor would be assessed a penalty of $100,000 per 24 hour period of delay.
On this project, Mac and Mac™ enabled the general contractor to collect a substantial bonus for a successful early completion.
